Our Industrial and Outdoor SSG and SSG-RP battery backup UPS systems are specifically designed for demanding solar and wind farm environments that other UPS systems are unable to manage. These UL Listed online UPS models (up to 6kVA) operate from -4º to 131ºF and -22º to 149ºF. Tested and designed with robust components, they are known worldwide for high reliability and long life. Our solar/wind customers include NextEra Energy, GP Joule, Grasshopper Energy and Confluence Solar.

Various options are available, including enclosures, LiFePO₄ batteries, and extended battery banks for up to 72 hours of runtime. We also offer 32º to 104ºF advanced online UPS models (800VA to 10kVA) for temperature-controlled environments like IT/communications, etc.

Our level of engineering support is unique and invaluable to ensure a properly configured power solution is provided and implemented.

For example, our technical team worked with a systems integrator (in renewable energy) to solve serious power problems at a major California solar farm. We recommended a UPS solution that resolved costly downtime problems. Forty-eight (48) SSG Industrial UPS battery backup systems were installed to protect the IT equipment on the concrete pads throughout the solar farm.
